In 2025, the Øresund Bridge and the Øresund Region celebrate 25 years. As part of the celebration, we welcome 40,000 runners from around the world to a spectacular half marathon between two countries. 500 days before the race, registration opens on 1 February.

To ensure that the race is carried out in a good and professional way, Øresundsbron cooperates with a sports organisation on each side of the strait. The organisations are MAI (Malmö Allmänna Idrottsförening) and Sparta Atletik & Løb in Copenhagen. The entire surplus from The Bridge Run 2025 goes back to sport via the organisations.

• Half marathon, 21.0975 km, price 1050 SEK or 700 DKK.

• Registration opens on 1 February at 12.00.

• Previous events in 2000 (80,000 participants) and 2010 (30,000 participants).
