European Electronic Toll Service (EETS)

EETS, European Electronic Toll Service, helps to simplify toll payments on toll roads within the European Union.

EETS enables payment of tolls through a single contract with an EETS provider and a single electronic device in the vehicle (On Board Unit, OBU) throughout the European Union.

The customer chooses an EETS provider to handle the payments of the tolls to the different toll chargers, and that provider in turn invoice the customer.
